Cleveland Velodrome Women's Clinic
The awesome folks at Cleveland Velodrome approached Michael and I over the winter to come and lead a two day women's clinic. This was super exciting, as I grew up near Cleveland!
Cleveland build a small 166m track a few years ago in Slavic Village. It is an amazing community facility with a strong volunteer base and great people! We had over 20 women attend which was awesome, and I was really impressed with everyone's skills and eagerness to ride!
If you haven't ridden a 166m track - which I hadn't - let me say, it isn't for the faint of heart! I'll be honest, I was a bit terrified when I saw it... but I was the clinic leader, so I could show no fear! Like all things, after we got rolling, it was a peice of cake and so much fun!
Hope to be back - here are some photos from the weekend - courtosy of Laura Webb and Gary Burkholder.
